hi girls!!!
these days im really busy huntin stuff for my baby.basically im havin trouble deciding on a few main items like

1.
simple crib or a convertible crib or a bassinet or a playyard or all .

2.
what kind of stroller/car seat?is buying these items seperately better or going for a combo like a travel system better and which brand?

3.
how about other furniture like diaper changing station/table, storage table with cabinets?

4.
ive even seen a nursery in a box combo sets that includes a crib,diaper changing station n a table with storage cabinets.is it a good idea to purchase it?

5.
what kind of swings/activity gyms to be considered good cos there r so many in the stores.

7.
last but not the least,specially for those residing in USA,do u girls know which stores ill be able to find those decorative wall patches or wall paper with different cartoons/floral patterns/stars that can b put on the ceiling,etc which can be used to decorate the baby s nursery.

i need a lot of inputs on this including the store names from all of you.hopefully ill get a lot of useful tips on these.

I sent these same questions to one of my friend who already had a kid and waiting for her reply. I'll tell my opinions at present.
1. I'm going with convertible crib
bassinet 'll be only for few months I think may be upto 6-8mths .
once the baby starts to sit r climbing its not good.
But the bassinet u can keep at the side of your bed.
We r thinking crib in the same room with us so we r going for that.
From americans I came to know they'll purchase bassinet for second hand for time being and crib as usual.
2. Going for travel system. This is recommended from one of my friend.
In travel system u can remove the car seat easily and put it on the stroller .
She said u no need to disturb the baby while sleeping and removing the baby from the normal car seat when so little she said we feel like not going any where. So going for travel system.
3.diaper changing table
only for few months because as the baby grows it won't fit at that time we have to use it for other purpose.
4.Yes I seen this
I'm confused whether the quality is good r not. Because for single crib price we r getting crib+changing table+storage
still thinking about this.

5. My friend suggested to purchase bouncer at present. She said the bouncer helped her a lot after her MIL went to india as we know they 'll rock the baby in their arms to make her calm r sleep . So babys'll be very used to that and afterwards also they want the same.
7.Furniture walmart is better
and my friend suggested if u don't want to roam around shops and u want to do everything in oneshop then
