hello,
i am 11 weeks pregnant. My first doctor's visit was on june 15th.During my breast examination she found a palpable mass on my left breast. It was paining a little bit also. She asked me to undergo U/S to verify whether it is a cyst or not.Today I did my U/S and they told it is not a cyst but a solid mass..like adenoma.they also found out there are lots of adenoma like masses on my both breasts.Since I am 11 weeks preg.they won't recommend mammo now. They may do a mammo during my 2nd trimester or they may right away ask me to do a biopsy.Anyway she said she will call me tomorrow and confirm.I am very much depressed now..this is my first child.I had a miscarriage last year.I don't want to loose my baby again..

sometimes I feel like god is so cruel to me..

Don't worry Pl,
Just have faith in God. I don't know which religion u belong to. Whatever it may be, trust in God and have complete faith in Him. He will not let you down. Probably, its just nothing. Don't be tensed, pray to God and everything will be alright.

Dear Pl,

True that while pregnant, in particular early part and terminal stage your breasts will go through more tingeling sensation. There is so much hormonal activity going inside your body. Breast is a sign of pregnancy, never heard it as a sign of miscarriage.

If you have had these before then likely it's late and you waited a long. I can imagine the hurting seemed more while in pregnancy due to hormones, in particular Progesterone.

Do not stress out and keep faith. You are unlikely to loose your baby. The worse can happen is that you will not be allowed to breastfeed your baby, that's also if situation gets worse/remain same and could not be treated while pregnancy.

Take temperatures each morning when you get up, preferably at the same time, these shall show the progress of your pregnancy. Until week 13 or so your temperature should remain steady.

Archie

Dear PL,
I fully understand your feelings. At the same time as Friend said, keep faith and not to get tensed. True that it's easier when said than done, but this is the only thing will help.

Mamo is not really a better option while pregnancy.
Do not worry for malignancy, which may be not necessarily true in your case. However, you getting tensed can affect your pregnancy in many ways. So for the sake of life within you, try to relax and look positively for that part.

Again, I would say, the worse can happen is you will go some treatment after delivering baby or will be asked not to breast feed, if malignancy is what you have. But good news is you will sail this difficult boat easy and deliver healthy baby.

Think positive.

dear archie,
thanks for your reply.I am worried about all these things.
1)I read in a book that mammo is not good for baby.So if doctor is advising mammo then what will happen to my baby??
2)If biopsy result reveals any malignancy then what I will do??
I know I am talking stupid things...but I am very tensed.
I started feeling about this mass from last 6 months..didn't take it seriously at that time..lab lady was telling ,seeing this much adnemoa is not normal but it can be normal in my case since it is seeing in my both breasts.
doctor has not yet called me .I will update you after that.
thank u
