Wish u all a happy new year..

I finally had my baby girl on 31st eve at 5:21aPM ..(35weeks4 days)

We named her SriTanvi

Here is the birth story of my daughter

actually my cervix was dialated from 32nd week..from then i was given steriods for baby's lungs and medication for stopping contractions..after 1 months effort finally my water broke on 31st afternoon at 2:40pm and was getting very painful contractions and we rushed to the hospital and i was admitted and i was 5 cms that time..the contractions were getting intense and i was 8cms in 1/2 hr...and i dint get a chance to take the epidurial..it was soo painful..and the doc was waiting for me to get compeletly dialated and i started to push ..in just 4 pushes the baby came out ,,

She weighed 5lbs7oz and 18''height..initially she was kept in spl care nursery for some time to check her glucose levels adn later was shifter to the regular nursary..

We are glad that she was sent home along with us..

She is sooooooo cute..will post her photos soon..

now both of us r doing good..

Good luck to all the moms who delivered and and r due to deliver..hope y'all will have a pleasent delivery..

Have any of you pierced your baby´ s ears?

Have any of you pierced your baby' s ears? Where did you get it done? Were you able to change the earrings after the piercing and put on indian ear rings? My pediatrician does not do it, and she suggested that i take tanvi to the mall. Pls share your experiences at the mall if you' ve had any.

My daughter was 5 months old when we decided to get her ear pierced. The non medical ear piercing options are painful and unsafe with possibilities of hepatitis, viruses and even HIV and I can never recommend it. My husband and I were looking for a safe, modern, gun shot piercing option which is completely safe, pain-free and with a traditional touch as well.
