Joint Family:I need Friends
2006-03-09
Name: luckygirl

Hi all,

I'm a South Indian married for around five years now. We live in US and no kids yet.....I have faced a lot of things in my life in the past 6 years. I'm under too much depression and i'm sick of my relatives......I don't like to post my story here b'cos it is a long story.

I came across many postings here that people feel lonely and need friends.

I too feel very lonely and would like to make lots and lots of friends....... I think i'm going crazy by dumping everything on my head.....I have even started talking to myself when i'm alone....hahaha....so that's serious..... now i need friends to share my situations and take advice which is not possible with relatives.....I'm looking for true friends who can be not just friends but good sisters. Anybody who is in the same situation and would like to share your friendship can mail me at luckygirl_here (at) yahoo (dot) com

I'm looking for real friends....not just chat friends.....somebody like family friends. I speak Tamil, Telugu and English. Let's all form a group and be nice sisters...... Let's forget our family issues and spend some time for ourselves.... share our sorrows and happiness.

Dear Luck Girl,
My wishes for your happy family life soon.
I hope you are still with your family. Family depressions are difficult to digest but there are many good ways to come out of those depressions. Please dont worry, the time will change your situations and happiness will be back in your life.

Happiness is lying within you and you need some self relaxation. Thinking too much of the issues will always maginfies and totally spoil your life.

You need a good friend at this moment. But inviting a unknown person from this forum is not advisable. There are good and bad poeople around us and you may not know the outcome until you face it. Already you are in family trouble and this new unknown friends from this forum should not add more problems in your life. Please be careful when you beleive somebody. I dont know how you can beleive an unknown person when you can't beleive your family members for your problems.

I think you need a good guide at this junction to help you and not to fall a prey to any bad elements. I recommend you that good books are the best friends for you at this moment. You can buy some good books available to relax yourself and know the human relations. I suggest some good books published by \";ANANDHA VIKATAN\"; to know yourself first. I beleive you can read tamil.

Should a single man live with his mum in India?
I am a man in my late 40s and I have lived abroad in USA for the past two decades. I never had any interest in marrying or having kids so I never married. Recently my Dad passed away and my mother will be alone. I have made enough money to retire comfortably but because I am used to the American lifestyle I can't live in India. Recently my relatives have started saying tha... - Venkat Dabri [View Message]
