Hi,

My son's (10 months old) right eye is watery most of the time. The ped. suggested eyedrops but the thing keeps returning after the affect of the medicine. How can I cure this?

Even my son is having the same problem.He is nine months old.I asked some 2-3 eye specialists and as kanan was telling it is due to the blockage of the duct joining the eyes and nose.it will open automatically after some 6-7 months.The doctor advised me to massage gently the part connecting the eye and nose and suggested the eyedrop like ciplox/ocupol.Don't worry.Love to ur baby,bye.

MY SON HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. ACTUALLY ,THE DUCT INSIDE THE EYE IS NOT PROPERLY FOAMED IN 60% OF THE BABIES. IT STARTS FROM HTE BIRTH TILL THE CHILD IS 13-15TH MONTH OLD AND IT DIMINISHES SLOWLY. DO ONE THING ALONG WITH THE DROPS GENTLY IN THE INSIDE OF THE EYE THAT IS THE BONE PART TO WITH THE NOSE IS ATTACHED. DO IT REGULARLY AND CAUSALLY. THIS WILL HELP TO OPEN UP THE DUCTS AS A RESULT THE TEARS WILL BE COLLECTED IN DUCTS AND NOT IN THE EYES. DONT WORRY. THIS WILL PASS. GOOD LUCK. AND LOVE TO YOUR LITTLE ONE. BYE.
