Hi..
I am writing to find out, if anyone has remedies to cut out fish smell from the house, once its been cooked.
I am a pure vegetarain, almost a Vegan..but my room mate is Seafood eater..
I have tried my luck with candles..and freshners..but please do give me other alternatives..
I don't have the option of moving out until a couple of months..
In deep distress

U can ask your friend to clean the fish in the vineger as the last step. (Just pour 1 or 2 spoons of vineger on the fish, keep for a couple of minutes then rinse it in the water.)

Subject:  U can try these tips



Hi there,
I dont know how effective these tips are but I read them in one of my book, so u can try it out:
1) Counteract the fish smell in the kitchen by boiling half glass of vinegar and one fourth glass of water in a sauce-pan for 5 to 10 mnts.
2) To remove fish smell from pans, boil little vinegar in them until the vinegar evaporates.
This is my own suggestion. U can try keeping the doors and windows open while the fish is being cooked as fresh air will minimize the smell.
