I was very active in indiaparenting few years back.Just want to give hope to all you who is trying to conceive.After 13 years of marriage, I finally conceived through ivf.And yes it can happen.they finally found the reason that i hav high nk cells, which was preventing me from getting pregnant.All my treatments are done in USA.Goodluck to all you!!.

my second Doc suggested few tests before ivf and told me that i have immunophenic. i saw the report and my CD56 cells are slightly high i have 13.8%(limit is 3-12). so it it called natural killer cells? i took ivig theropy(petaglobin injection was administred through ivsalin) before ivf but still my ivf failed.
after that i underwent one more ivf without ivig and it also failed.actully i lost all my hope and and feeling so helpless.
can you tell me the protocol and about natural killer cell tests and details ? plz... abha replied. hi sanjana
If u dont mind could you let me know how much it cost you at SHER and wat protocol (ganirelix or lupron) did they have u on?

I have read their website and I know that they treat nk cells with intralipids. Was intralipids the only addition that they made to the medications in your case?
I actually had a consult with another clinic of theirs (not NY) but did not proceed as I was unsure if they were good.I have not had the NK test done yet. But now I am rethinking.

Also did u make more eggs this time than previous IVF' s?
Wow 13 yrs is long and i am glad it finally worked out. Did the other doctors in the US give any reason for the previous ivf failures? Sorry for the multiple questions. Hope to hear frm u.thanks abha replied. Hi Sanjana

I believe more than all these treatments success depends on how we think. I followed " secreat" movie.Just watch it and try to follow it.Just keep in mind no Doc will put heartbeat in your baby.It has to come from GOD!!.

Sorry I don´ t hav any answer for your natural killer related questions.They found out in my case I have elevated nk cells and they treated me with " intralipid" .I think anything above 10 is considered as elevated .
Along with that I did CGH tests on my embryos, which is basically testing chromosomal abnormalities.most ivf fails b´ coz of embryo quality, this was my last try..so i thought if my embryos are not normal i will go for donor eggs.
Please don´ t lose hope..in cases like this mental attitude makes lots of difference.Along with medical treatment I also followed:
1.Law of attraction-documentry movie.
2.Meditation.
3.Reading lalita sahasranama on friday(believed to be very powerful & successful if you finish 42 continueos fridays).

I was in same catagory for 12 years..No doctor could find out what was wrong with me.This time I used Dr.Sher in Sirm institute in NY.Before they started ivf they did bunch of detail tests and they found out I hav elevated NK cells.They are almost double the cost of other center but i believe they are really worth it.I hav 3 failed ivf´ s from different centers(1 in india & 2 here).And believe me it felt like they are all just shooting in dark.Let me know if you need more information.I know what was the pain and I am very happy to help you if you need any further info.
