Hi,
My baby is now 7.5 months and she weighs only 6kg.She was on the lower side during birth ie 2.5kg but as per the weight chat she should be somewhere around 7kg now.She is eating normally only.During the initial 3-4 months she was gaining good weight but now her weight is not increaing much ,from the past 3 months she has gained just 1 kg.Kindly suggest what can be done.

Thanks a lot Vaishh for those tips.Am based in india,had one more question ,do we have to raost the oat powder before making paste for the babay like we do in case of ragi,suji etc.

hai!!
u can try feeding her some oats related food.i have no idea where u live.if u r in india,u can buy whiteoats and blend it inmixie to fine powder and mix it with ur milk or even cerelac,make into a paste and feed her twice a day.u can use 2 diff flavours of cerelac when u make paste tht way the baby wont get bored.
oats will regulate ur baby's weight and also regulate her bowel movements.
if u live in US u get oat cereal for babies itself.u can directly use it to feed her..
apart from tht,try giveing her half banana everyday.make her food routine regular.never let her skip a meal.even if she takes 3 spoons tht will do the trick.
prepare idlis,mash it with cerelac/ur milk n parle g biscuit(1) and feed her.this will give her a variety.chappathis mashed in curd witha tinge of salt will also give u many options to try on her..
