There are so many times when my daughter Aditi makes me think. The best times are when she is fast asleep and smiling in her sleep. I feel the angels are tickling her. I can simply keep on watching her cherubic face.

Once she is awake she is the life of the house. It’s a pleasure to see her when she is lost in her building blocks. She is trying to make a tower and every time there is a new development she wants me to see it. Sometimes she keeps her tower as it is till I am back from office.

When we are out shopping and when she is tired, she can sleep in my arms without a worry about the world. My arms are enough for her as an assurance that she is secure. She teaches me to take a break when I am tired too.

She never worries when she laughs. Her gurgling laughter, chuckles and heart melting smile always show me what a smile can do to somebody. Laughing freely is such a wonderful thing.

When I am around her she demands all my attention. I would be worried if she didn’t give me any. I think aditi is the best thing that ever happened to me. She teaches me something small but important everyday.
