I had a C-section three weeks back. But I am not producing enogh milk to feed the Baby. but I am not producing enough milk, So everytime Iam using formula. This worries me so much.now a days iam getting very less milk than previous.
Could you Please suggest me what to eat and drink to produce more milk.and is there any powders or tablets to increase milk..

I had two C-section in two yrs but had the same problem.You need to drink more water to produce more milk it has been proven in America that to get more milk your water intake should be more.If the problem still persists I advise you to consult a Lactogenist or either pumping helps but you constantly keep pumping all the time the more you do the more you get.I also recommend to consult your Gynaec.Hope the above information helps you.All the best. even i had the same problem..please tey and get a breast pump and try pumping ..ur supply will increase with demand and also u would have a mental peace as to how much milk u r making
also eat things like methi, cabbage, garlick, papaya..ect..check with elders in the family and include these items in ur diet..they work wonders
Also for cracked nipples, use ur breast milk on them, also u can do is place a cabbage leaf in boilied water and apply it on ur nipples..again works wonders..

I had a normal delivery but for the 1st week my milk supply was very low..& to top it my son wudnt take to my breast...unleass ur son sucks ur milk doesnt flow out consistently...My doctor suggested Lactic granuels by Dabur..to enhance the milk production...It was very very effective & best is it is AYURVEDIC ...I suggested the same to my friend ..she has also found it to be very very effective...BUT PLZ CONSULT UR DOC FIRST.....
it is an ectremely effective powder which u have to drink 2-3 times with milk..hope this helps....
