Single Parenting:Help for Single Parents

Name: AshokaNik I am Mark, Indian /Male/ working in Dubai last 8 years, I am a single parent for my 10 years old daughter & I am taking care of my daughter by facing lots of internal as well as external problems. You can imagine how difficult is bringing up a small kid in foreign country like UAE. I read all the problems and issues of single parenting. b coz I am experiencing that. Any one want to discuss their problems regarding single parenting, or husband and wife separation issue i am ready to join with them to find good solutions. Me and my wife separated almost 8 years back ,In that time every one said Father can not take care of baby girl , I took that challenge and she is now 10 years old. I didn’t tried to get marry also. I used to read lots of issue here, I wish to get involve and find some solutions for them. For that any one can contact me. thru email.

It's good to see your raising your daughter on your own. I will be raising my son on my own. In UAE does the government give custody to the father or did you have custody out of other circumstances. The reason why I am asking is my ex-husband is from Dubia bharati replied. MArk you are a lucky chap . Having your children with you is the greatest gift you can ask for . I work with asha-kiran and Saveindianfamuly fooundation which apart from working to resolve abuse of men and elders also tries to get & rebuild relationship between sad fathers and children. Most of the fathers in India are first forced to defend their elder parents from legal abuse in a separation situation and by the time they are out they have lost 3-5 years of time when relationship are built .
We do have a few signle father and I have not heard a peep of complaint how single fathering is Tough . In fact most of the single fathers are just thrilled that they have the children with them and they do not have to go through the hurdles even to see their child. They know it is major gift which they have got

Hi Bharati

I am a single, unmarried professional guy, and am running from pillar to post trying to adopt a boy. I have some medical problems for which I wisely stayed away from mariage.
However it is being very difficult to adopt a baby, inspite of the fact that I have a loving family to support me.

Can you help me with advise and also tell me where I can apply(adoption agencies which are sensitive, and listen to single father applications).
