Sleeping:Baby awake late into the night

Hi,

Need your help in trying to get my baby to adopt a healthy sleep timing. Currently she keeps playing till at least 12 in the night before going to sleep. During weekends, if I sleep in with her, she will wake up only at 10 in the monring. However, during weekdays she wakes up around 7.30, has her breakfast, bath, plays for a bit and then agains sleeps for 1 hour at least at around 9-10 AM. She has at least 2 naps during the day for a total of 2-3 hours. She is very active, does not seem to be tired because of this routine. However, I want to try and put her in bed by 9.30 and up by 6.30 - 7.
She is 14 months old now.

Please help!!

Thanks,

u can develop this routine by giving her warm water bath around 9.30pm change her clothes ....apply powder...feed her...n try to put her to sleep ...after 1 week or 2 week automatically she will know that now mom is givng me bath n changing ...its now time to sleep..let her sleep in morning ...around 10am...then after 3pm in the afternoon...let her get up by 5 pm..then dont let her sleep...she will develop this habit after soemtime automatically....

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
