1)At 30 wks my doc found that my fluid level is low(at that point it was 3.2...but it's improved after that). So she has been monitoring my levels twice every week since then. I have been given I/v hydration twice.It has gone up since then, but is still not over 10...it keeps fluctuating. She said that if it stays at that, they may induce after 37 wks. What is the probability of having a normal delivery if Iam induced?
2) At my appointment today, I found that I have lost 1 lb. Is that something to be concerned about? I used to be constantly hungry before, but over the last 1 wk, my appetite has gone down considerably & I've also had a bad cold for the last 2 days.
3) My doc also said that my cervix is open from outside, but the inside is still closed. Iam 35 wks pregnant. Is that normal???
4) Is there any reason why the fluid level goes low? archie replied. at this stage your fluid level can be fluctuating. If it does not improve while at the time of induction more chance for C-section, rather it will be an elected C-section and not induction. But if it's around 10 then you may be induced and you will have good chances to end up in vaginal delivery.

2. I would not worry for a pound loss as long as you have gained normal so far.

3. yes your cervix can start progressing here after and is good if you have to induce, just in case. Since you are not 100% effaced and cervix indeed is not dilated no worries as of today.

4. keep well hydrated.
