Today I had my check-up, an internal check-up. The doctor said the baby's head is way down but the cervix is still closed. Also she said it is safe to have the baby any time after 34 weeks. Now I am in my 35th week, ie I have completed 34 weeks. So what do you all think? Any comments?

I am just tensed, excited or I dont know what to say. Should I really expect it any time from now or just be cool? I am so restless. She infact told me that I may still proceed till my due date which is Jan end.

How are others doing? Keep us updated.

Am in my 35th week too and am due in the last week of Jan. I guess, we still have a long way to go :-) Also, acc to Archie - delivery anytime after 36 weeks is good. Most of them happen between 38th and 42nd week.

Its a good idea however to be prepared from 36th week. Make sure u have registered into the hospital and take care of things like insurance n stuff now, to avoid last moment confusion. A friend of mine also advised me to keep my hospital bags ready from 38th week.
