Since last few days my 9mnths old daughter has developed lice, thanks to our maid. Since I started going to work I have to leave my doughter with maid, I try to manually kill the nits whenever I get time.. but it seems to be never ending. Does anyone knows any home remedy for permanently getting rid of this...

hello!!

Before applying tulsi leave and stuff to ur daughters hair, first ask ur maid to get her hair cleaned. Bcoz all this effort wud go waste as she wud again get lices in her hair from ur maid .and wud become a never ending process .

Tulsi leaves

Hi
U maytry this, keep tulsi leaves/neem leaves in side the pillow cover of ur baby and make her sleep on that, the lice will go off.

before trying nething, make sure you watch for baby age. 9mnths old using camphor in oil might work to kill the lice but camphor might not be a good option for babies below 1 year. also with oil and then trying to get rid of that grease,, is a big mess for 9month old.
try applying neem water(lots of neem leaves boiled in water) with a light massage and all lice will die off..after couple mins,,,wash and rince with lots of water,,
repeat as necessary every 2 days,,
no need to worry of washing thoroughly with soap !!!
also 9months old doesnt have that many hair that you have to worry about washing them.

even my 18 months daughter as dont know from whom maid or whom? mix camphor with coconut oil (warm) and then try to comb.otherways give her a short haircut so its wasy to kill manually..
