I just returned from my doc's appt. They did an ultrasound today for me, and it was once again such an amazing experience. The face of the baby seems to be filled out, not like the alien invader I saw last time :-)
They also gave me clear pictures of the nose and lips.....I can't seem to stop smiling, and had to share this news with all of you.

u/s and baby kicks

Hi Radhika, Suni, Anu,

Yes even i'm waiting eagerly for my next u/s but dunno when my doc will advise one. I'm in the 28th week now and I think it'll happen in the 8th month...which is far far away :-(

But now I'm all the more keen to see the baby when I feel more pronounced baby kicks..I'm sure all of you must be feeling the same. It's like one can see the bulge moving on the tummy and it suddenly disappears. And have ur babies started responding to ur touch? Mine comes and kicks me where I place my hand. Does it happen to you girls as well??

Hi Suni,

Nice to know that you are able to see your baby again. It must be amazing. How many weeks are you? I too feel like seeing my baby, but don't know when they will do second u/s .

Glad to hear everything is fine..enjoy the images..i keep seeing the video they gave us the first time..
its fun..and amazing too..really happy for u..hope u keep smiling the last 3 -3 1/2months too..
Is this ur second u/s..as per my doctor they do it only if they see something not normal with me..i sometimes feel like having one more..

Multiple ultrasounds

Hi Radhika,

Actually, this is my fourth ultrasound...I guess I just lucked out with my doctors. The first one was real early at 6 weeks coz I got introduced to this doctor at that time and we only saw the heartbeat, and then the normal one at 12 weeks, then one at 20 weeks for the measurements etc, and she did one at 25, that is the one today....
I am hoping to get one more, keeping my fingers crossed. This way, I have lots of pictures of the baby at different stages. Hope you get your second u/s.
