Due Date Club February 2005:Howz' motherhood, girls!

Hi Friends,

How are you all, girls! Enjoying motherhood!

It’s been a long while, I have been thinking to write to you all! But truly life has been different after Pratyaksha is around. Absolutely no time! It’s been weeks now I have been thinking of filing my nails and put some new shed… but where there is time! With a hectic schedule at office, full time now – 9 to 7, I feel I am not doing justice to the little soul, leaving her back at home.

She is doing well and hope for the same with all your little ones. We have been regular to the ped and as suggested by him all vitamins and vaccinations are on.

Pratyaksha is 2 and half months now and slowly trying to respond to me and my husband’s voice. It’s so exciting! If she is with someoneelse (she is mostly with my MIL during the day), on seeing me she clearly expresses her joy on her face. The smiles are priceless! She has recently started to respond when we directly talk to her with her smiles, with her direct eye contacts and sometimes with nodding. Amazingly, she also shows her cute anger if I am late in opening the mother dairy booth… she does not cry, yet makes sure to scream ge ge…giiiiiiiiiii or inge inge (which planet this language is of, god only knows!). At times when she is very hungry and I am delaying connecting her to the breast, she decides to go self-service. She takes her left hand to mouth (I mean the whole fist inside) and makes all kinds of funny sound of trying to suck milk from there. When she is not asleep and she is full, she really enjoys her play-gym and her bouncer.

I miss her really when I am away to office. I joined last month with half a day arrangement. But from 2nd may onwards it is for the full day. During the day time it’s my MIL who takes care of her… and 7pm to 8.30am she is in my possession. When Pranjal is back at home at 8pm, papa’s daughter decides to go ga-ga with her funny languages and cycling exercise. It’s an everyday affair that I shed tears to leave her and come for work. I am in look out for a good maid for her. (Hey anyone from Delhi help me getting a good maid providing agents! Tamanna, what about you? How are you managing?)

That’s it for now! Guys, please write about the little ones – their behaviour/ habits/ naughty acts. I am attaching some images of my daughter. I will soon post some more...

Love to all of you and the sweeties –

niti

Nice to hear from you, the board has been relatively quiet, guess due to busy motherhood days. Santhosh is doing fine, keeping us busy, sleeps fine, wakes up once or twice during the night, day time he sleeps, plays a little, gives nice cute smiles, screams, and shows his emotions of anger, sadness, happiness very clearly! He too likes to push his entire fist in his mouth. He is now 3 months and 10 days old :)

love to Pratyaksha
