I strongly disagree. Do you know how many families i have seen being messed over because parents used these methods? The home lives are horrible. The children are very disrespectful. Why you ask because there is no punishment for doing wrong. When i have kids and one of them breaks a neighbors window i will smack him/her and then tell them that the have to replace the window there is no choice about it. i turned out just fine and so did my brothers and sisters. Another this you use the word beat to much there is a line between spanking and beating. What is with reasoning with a child? Would you reason with a criminal instead of punish him/her? There is no reasoning with a child either they do what they are told or they get spanked. I will leave you with this statment \";This is the saddest excuse for disiplining a child i have ever seen.\";
