Hey Vindhya, glad to know that everything is fine with you and the baby...Thank god for that..I hope the pain has subsided..it must be related to indigestion and heartburn like your doc said..(since the uterus puts pressure on the stomach)

I am sure your hospital does offer the classes, do check into it...

I am feeling a bit better today, thanks...I did make an appointment with the 3D center for next week...Thanks to you... I want to make sure everyting is fine with the baby and also want to see him, so I decided to go for it ASAP..

The earthquake felt like a pretty strong one for us here, I felt it move for more than 10 secs...and then the refinery being on fire and us not being allowed to go out of the hospital was bit worrisome too..I am glad it was a small one... and there were no injuries...

Hi Radhika,

I guess going on a weekend is better. Have fun at the U/S.

We need to start getting used to whatever kids do, or atleast control them if they are ours. Anyway, like Avi said make sure your hard drive is fine. Connect your laptop to your PC monitor and see if you can still view your stuff. May be, its a small fix.

Radhika, hope you called the manufacturer of your computer and found out if the screen can replaced. If the screen is the only hardware that needs repair, then depending on the model and year of yor laptop they might be able to set u up with a new screen for free if have a warranty, else a new laptop screen shouldn't cost tooooo much....

Hey Radhika, sorry to hear about the disaster with your laptop...It sure must be a bummer..
If you cant fix it, then atleast make sure your harddrive can be salvaged...cause you dont want to lose all your stuff.

Glad to hear you are going for the 3D ultrasound tomorrow..Wow..
they must have told you to eat 90 mins before getting there and I assume you cant drink the juice cause of the GD..

YOu have fun and enjoy watching your little one....

3D pictures.

Hi ladies, glad to hear that everybody is doing well. I have been having some problems with my laptop. I had some lil kids over today and they dropped the lt and now the screen isnt working which is freaking me out totally. (It has alllllllllllllllll my stuff).

Am using the PC now (just in case you are wondering).

Anyways, I am going in for the 3D thing tomorrow, and have taken the same package as Avi. Should be good, am really looking forward to it. Will keep y'all updated about this.

(Any suggestions about the laptop are more than welcome).

3D package

Vindhya, making an appiontment was pretty easy...They seemed to have a lot of available time during weekdays..and I was able to reserve the last remaining opening on a Saturday..
If you want to make an appointment on a Saturday, you might want to call a couple of weeks ahead of time...

I opted for a Bronze package - 1 vhs videotape and two BW photographs
and I asked to add on two extra options to the package- DVD recording & 2 additional glossy sepia toned photographs(whatever they are) and the total is 135+25+20 - $180..
I might also add the CD-RW option for the photos

It will surely be worth it...and will give me some peace of mind too..

By next week, I will be in the 31st week and I thought It would be a good time to have it done..

Hi Avi,

I just came back from the Dr's office.

I hope you are feeling better today. Just read your childbirth class message. The doctor has asked me to call the hospital to find out if they provide any classes, will have to call soon.

The earthquake yesterday must have given you a scare, I was thinking about you as you live near Piedmont where the epicenter was. In Alameda too, we felt a strong jolt. I am glad there were no casualties.

As for the stomach pain is concerned, the doctor thought they were contractions and put me on the non-stress monitor. I was there for 20 minutes and they didn't see anything wrong. So, I'll have to continue taking Tums as the doctor nows thinks that it might be related to heartburn.

I have an appointment again next Friday. I'll keep you all updated.
