I'm travelling to India with my 1 year old.Pls. advise me on the vaccinations he needs and also does Gerber jar food and cereal boxes remain safe out of fridge in travel.

unopened gerber food jars and cereals remain safe without fridge until the date mentioned on them....so take it along with a good stock..take smaller bottles or plastic packs to avoid too much of storing in fridge problems..you know your baby diet and amounts so take the sizes of bottles accordingly.
your baby is 1 year, assuming that you are in US, he must have had his 1 year well child checkup with all the necessary vaccinations. and now in most states of US, the next vaccination time is at 15months and in some its 18months,,,,if by then you are not coming back from india, nothing wrong if you are late for couple months,,ask your dr about it.
he will be best to advice you on that..wheneve you step out of country,keep your baby vaccination records uptodate with you in your purse always,,,,its better if you have all of his medical records,,it will be easier for treatments if ne emergencies happen outside the country, wherein generally drs expect you to have baby medical records..however if time doesnt perrmit,its ok to ask your nurse to make you write all imp medicines that were prescribed to your baby eversince birth, with dates..
