Due Date Club December 2005:Breathing problem
2005-09-11
Name: Pallavi

Hi All,
I am in 27th week, feeling very heavy now-a-days and itching all over the body. Sometimes i feel breathing problem, it becomes difficult for me to breathe easily. Sometimes just while seating and reading news-paper or watching TV i start hopping. This is just for some time, few mins after i am normal.
I read that this is because more blood starts generating in body for the growing baby and hence need of more oxygen arises. But those few mins really scares me.
Is anyone facing this. What to do this time?

Pallavi

Hi Pallavi,
This is a common problem. I have this problem only when I am working or Walking. It also become difficult to speak during this time. Nothing to worry.. Enjoy the Pregnancy.. what is your EDD and in which city are you planning to deliver. Do update.

Take care..

Thanx ammy. Good to hear its common. Just that the EDD is coming closure, am getting tensed by small small problems. I thought its a issue with BP. One of my friend had to go under seasorine in 8th month only bcoz of high BP. She delivered baby boy who is in ICU. so was just worried.
I am from Pune, my EDD is 12th DEC.
Be in touch

Thanx
Pallavi

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
