Raising Children:Parents leaving the newborn with nanny or granny?
2008-04-04
Name: Jyoti

What kind of woman leaves her child with her old parents or nanny? I think, when a woman who has a completely comfortable life with good career and married life leaves her new born with her old parents or nanny.. is a very selfish.. monster mother. When a woman discards her child after birth she is surely a devils incarnation. Why do I say this? Its because kids need their parents especially at very young age and it is the baby' s birth right.Doesn' t it make your blood curdle when you imagine a breast-fed baby being pulled away by the mother and dumped into another ones' s arm? Such woman think the child forgets all about this but its wrong as its consequences are shown when the child reaches teenage and has low self-esteem and gets into all kinds of bad stuff. shame on such parents who are worse than prostitutes or criminals as their crime is being committed against their own child.

I strongly object the words used by you. I still don' t understand whether u r a woman or not. Do you think home-staying mothers are gr8!!! than working mothers. Do u know how pressurinsing their day is. They have to balance between work and life. Its not easy in these days to run a family with one earning. We are working only for the sake and well being of the children. Plz don' t use unparliamentary words like this. I think u must be a 10th STD fail candidate born in a millionaire family. first ask yourself whether u have done justice to your kids.

Hello dear,
I think u r a very very rich lady, but r u looking after ur own kids on ur own did not u keep any1 to look after ur kid, I don' t think lady who is rich like u have not kept any nanny, it is ladies like who have over following bank keep nannies, becoz I no many rich ladies who leave their kids with nannies go flirting, so please don' t use such words for mother who works sometime to give best for her kids n sometimes as they want to work n not to sit in the house 2 hatch eggs or gossip like u, ask ur mom if she had not kept any 1 to look after u were kid then, do reply , n if u r not married go around slum or middle class to find out as to why the mothers work n if ur bank is over following do try to to help some of them , but never give ur dirty comments on poor mom like us understood, we no how difficult it is to bring up a child with 1 salary in the city like mumbai.

Ms. Jyoti,
I would not even had bothered to answer you back but I am compelled to do so for all working mothers.
Every mother whether working or stay at mom does the best that she can for her child. What suits you probably is not my cup of tea and vice versa.
I am a working mother and I work not out of necessity(money wise)with gods grace I always had more than enough in my life since I was born. I work because I want to. It does not make me any less of a mother. This old age debate of whether working moms are better than stay at home is same as chicken vs egg story.
No end to it. You are no one to judge anybody else' s situation. You have your reason for your opinion and keep them to yourself. At the end of the day a mother who gives birth has every right to raise her child in her best way :-)

tink b4 u open ur mouth and ur devils workshop okkkk.we arent sooooooooo rich like u .or else do one thing donate all ur money to women who hv babies and then we will sit at home.
get ur facts rite.not all are wokin for our own life its for our bbaies lives.
