Menstruation:Irregular Periods Pls help

Name: Shaily Tandon My son was born in September 2008 and he is 17 months old now. After delivery I had got my periods with in a month. In December I had started taking Depo Provera every 3 months gap till August when my gyne told me that it is not safe to take these injections for a long time as I had started a problem of irregular periods. She has suggested me to go for Coper T. In the month of August I had inserted CoperT but after that also the problem was not solved, I was always on pads. In the month of December I removed it. My gyne told that it will take 1 week to adjust your body (periods will happen 1 week after removal) but it had took more than 1 month to stop. Now I am not using any Contraceptive, but I am not having my periods since then except some little spotting once in a while. Can any one let me know When I will get my normal period cycle & what precautions I should take as I don' t want to take any pills?
