Name: Preeti N HI All,

I have gone through the pain of abortion 2 times. First time it was healthy pregnancy but second time because there was no cardiac activity still developed at 8 weeks also, doc suggested D&C last week. Now i am worried on how long it will take for conception again and chances of normal and healthy pregnancy. Can any one pls guide me on this. I am still recovering from the fear of abortion.

Hi Preeti:
We too had two consecutive missed abortions. First we had to undergo D&C but second time it got terminated by itself after brief complications. But after second time we took about six months time to recoup ourselves. But we knew that we could always go in for conception after some time. So after six months we started to plan again and after 4 months of successive efforts we succeeded in conceiving naturally. Of course I did a lot of studies and asked many friends. So don' t u worry things will fall in place. All the Best.

Thanks for the suggestions.. Like you i am also asking opinions from my friends and family. I am quite relieved now and have hopes of getting conceived wiht healthy pregnancy. Every time i will have a new worry. It is almost 12 days but the bleeding has not yet stopped. Is this normal?

It depends whether you want to keep the child or not. If you don't want, you can simply abort it without telling anybody anything.
