C-Section:pls clarify my doubt

Hi

I had a c-section 3 1/2 months back and i am 22 yrs old. This is my first baby. Doctors have not told me in advance whether there could be a normal delivery or a c-section. At the time of my delivery doctors put me in 2 days observation (as my due date was completed and no pains) and then told that i had no pains and also told that the heart beat of my child was decreasing and then they made a c-section. As per my knowledge, ladies before 25 yrs of age wil definitely undergo a normal delivery becoz of the youngness and when they cross 28 and above there will be a chance of c-section. I was very much disturbed, pls reply me, the reason for undergoing c-section instead of normal one. thank u

My first boy was born like too, because of his heart beat going lower. My main concern was the baby's situation. I immediately went into it, without having a 2nd thought. Your perception towards C-sect and age is definitely wrong. It is not at all like that. Enjoy your motherhood.

It is not necessary that women under 25 should have normal delivary, delivary usually depends upon the circumstances.in your case doctors has mentioned clear that your babys heart rate is decreasing.so to avoid any further complications they performed c section.so now dont worry about that.take good care of your health and enojoy your new baby.congratulations.

RE:C-Section
C-sections are planned when the mother wishes to escape the labor pain or in emergencies like if the cord is entangled around the baby's neck and the baby's life is at risk. But i think natural delivery is always a better option.... - Neeta [View Message]
