Hi Archie,
Actually we had intercourse yesterday. Does this decrease the chances of getting pregnant?
And for long we had to avoid the intercourse?
Please help. Will appreciate your reply.
Thanks
Piya

Dear Piya,
If using OPK, then read instructions and information on ovulation timing. It may be that your kit predicts ovualtion 24 - 36 hours before ovulation can take place.

Typically no need to avoid intercourse, but couples who think they do not have success should avoud frequency of intercourse. Abstaining from intercourse will allow your spouse to generate ample sperms of quality to flow through the F. tubes.

If you have intercourse when test is strong positive (OPK) then chances of conceiving are boosted as there will be delivery of abundant sperms and the vaginal environment is favorable for sperms to flow through.

One can have intercourse from then for 3-5 days once a 24 hours.

Hi Archie,
Thanks for replying. Your reply relieved some of the tension. But I am still scared.
Archie, does fibroid cause any difficulties in getting pregnant? I really need to know.
Is it ok not to take test on one day? Because I forgot to take the test today.
Thanks.
