Hi

Can anyone tell me the different types of Fast in hindu religion.I would like to keep fast as my husband's job has some uncertainities.
Also pls explain how the fast should be taken.?

Riya Neha replied. Sonita - Are you serious ? Riya - Did you actually try that ? Gosh...what your husband probably needs now is your support and undertanding. Not fasts. God forbid, but if he does lose his job and due to your fasts something healthwise happens to you - It'll just make matters worse and also will be a waste of his savings / resources ( money,time) more than anything else. Just be there. Infact, if you are not working, you probably should start looking for a job yourself, that'll add to you financial situation and keep your mind occupied and away from doing silly fasts. What say ? Why dont you try this out.

Take a half glass of water, half a glass of milk and half teaspoon Black Til ( I hope you know what it is !!). Mix them all.

Now if you have any natural water resource near your house, say a river or a pond, infact sea would be ideal; pour the above mixture into it, in the evening time, probably at sunset.

My Aunt used to do this when my Uncle was out of job and it did work for them. I wouldnt have suggested you this, since each and every one's case is different, still what's the harm in trying, right !!! She did it for almost two months.

You too can try doing the same.
