Menstruation:Heavy Periods.....need help

Name: Vini Hi frds,
I had my delivery in march 08 it was a c section.i didnt get periods till 9 mnth , when i asked my doc n frds they said its becoz u r BF the baby.i have got my periods 2 weeks ago, its too heavy normally before preg. i use 2 get heavy bleeding for 3 days then use to keep decreasing untill 4 days.
But now i have got very heavy bleeding n its over a week its not stoping. Shd i cnsult doc abut it?Even i want 2 take contraception pill, is it safe 2 take as i m BM my baby? i m confused plzz guys need ur help
