Hi all,
today I went for 24weeks check up with my gyn. YThe moment she came she said by the next appt I have to take the GD test. She checked the heartbeat and checked the cervix said everything good and ready to go thats all!
Some how I managed to ask about my previous blood test and weight. After asking about weight she checked the record and said u r overweight and try to control. I'm in other hand wrote so many questions to ask her but she didn't give any chance .Just only 5min she took. I'm sad that I couldn't ask everything I want to and at the same time my baby is doing great even in the doc's room he's kicking like he's asking something.
I have few doubts
1. Someone mentioned about TT injections and my doc didn't specify anything till now. R the injections compulsory?
2. She didn't discuss about placenta position also should I be worried or it means everything good. I'm confused ?
3. Anyone give me some nice tips tp control my weight?
Actually I'm eating the same like before pregnant only milk I added.
I know I can share my feelings & u'll understand
Thank u all.

Hi Susmitha,

Glad to know that your baby is fine and kicking :-). The docs are so busy that sometimes they are not able to give adequate time to each of their patients. Next time insist on getting answers for all your queries...If she does not give you a satisfactory answer, then you can always count on us and experts on this board :-)

I can help you only with your second query. The postion of the placenta is usually identified during the ultrasound scan and in case of a problem, it is clearly mentioned in the report as one of the findings. The doc probably did not discuss this with you since everything must be fine in your case.

You should be happy and cheerful since your doc told you everything is normal. Enjoy your pregnancy.

Happy Ganesh Chaturti!!

Very good doctor
Hi,

I delived a baby boy in March 2009. I consulted Dr.Chitra Ramamurthy during my pregnancy cycle. She' s one of the best doctors in Bangalore. Not many people know about her. She handled the entire process in a very professional manner. I used to visit her clinic in Jayanagar 3rd block. She is very caring and affable. She says what to do and what not to do. ... - Sandhya Rao [View Message]

So long as your baby is feeding, that' s all that really matters. These days, formulas are packed with everything the baby needs, and although it is never as good as breast milk, it' s perfectly fine. It sounds like maybe what you are missing is the bonding that breast feeding provides? My first child had both breast and bottle milk for the first 6 months, when I had a mis... - Jhumri [View Message]
