I noticed on the board you answer a lot of questions, and wanted to know if you can advise me as well. My child is 1 years old, and since summer, facial hair has become dark and long. This is real concerning to me, because its very noticeable. I read about the besan, tumeric,and milk paste, and tried it one day. How often should I do this, when will i see results, and can I also do the haldi and milk once a day as well as the paste mix. Your help will be appreciated!! yup, mix=besan,milk,haldi.just apply, massage gently, and rinse well with water...no need of soap after that..
make sure it doesnt go in eyes,private parts of body where rinsing is tough(eyes,nose,ears,underarms,private parts)
take care good luck Swapna replied. Mix besan, milk and haldi. Massage the baby with oil, apply the paste and wash off with water. Using this everyday would be fine. Otherwise, use the paste on a day, and soap on another. I am not an expert to comment on 1 yr old baby as my baby is only 2 months old, but, my mother says that this is really effective!

if your baby has not shown any kind of dryness because of paste mixture, continue it,if dryness or any rashes is seen, avoid it. you can still deal with dryness by giving a lite oil massage before bath of paste and then bathe him..continue that,,its not a matter of days,its a ayurvedic and a natural traditional therepy for skin that we follow,,and when it comes to any natural ways,,results are expected to be like 15days or amonth ! but the results are really good..it has alot to do with how your baby is able to handle that treatment and as to how his skin accept it ..like us, babies react differently to each things and remedies.
