Congratulations to all you new moms.. Hope all are doing well with your little ones.

My baby girl arrived on Oct 17th. My dd was on 28th.My dr. had told me to be ready. I was already 3+ cms dialated on my last dr. visit. On 17th morning my contractions started at 5:30 am. I waited till abt 11:30 for them to become regular and then called my doc. they told me to head for the hospital. I was admitted at abt 12:30... I was mainly having back labor and was worried that the baby would be posterior.. tried different positions .. to see if my contractions would move to the front.. At 5:30 my doc came to check on me and I was 8 cm dialated.. we decided to break my waters.. after which the pain became unbearable.. so I decided to take epidural hoping it would not be too late. The epidural went in smoothly and gave much needed relief. after 1 & 1/2 hours of pushing and assistance from vacum, my precious baby was born at 9 pm.
My mom unfortunately missed her birth as she came 2 days later. But I'm sure glad to have her help.

We named her 'Maliaka' which means 'Angel' in Swahili.

i had my baby girl on Oct17th too.my actual due is on nov 4th and i had her early. we named her Rhea which also means angel.congratulations and enjoy motherhood. take care

I have been visiting site and finally cld see posts. Rhea is doing good.Pretty active like other kids.she sings whole abc song and counts 1to 6 (her bro' s impact)
I have been busy since i joined work since Jan ,so my inlaws are here to help with kids.i terribley miss both kids during day.
