Hi Arun,
My Daughter is 6 months old i am br. feeding. She likes drinking from cup.Normal cup which we use.Children always likes to imitate parents. We used to keep our daughter with us while we drink tea. She noticed the colour of cup and slowly started drinking from that. She will hold cup and try to take it to her mouth.Try keeping ur daughter with u while u drink tea /coffee. Give milk in attractive colourful cup.Let her hold it(Be with her ).She will enjoy this.
All the Best

I'm in the same boat as you. My daughter refuses to take milk from anything but bottle. As soon as she realizes that it is something other than water she shuts her mouth like anything.

Do get back if you've any success.

hi gayathri,
do you feed your daughter plain milk or do you add some flavor. my daughter didn't like to drink plain milk betw 12mths and 19mths of age. then suddenly she was back to plain milk !!
my daughter likes vanilla milk and also strwberry milk, try it, if it works for you!! at one stage my daughter had become so fussy that i used to put a few coffee granules in her milk, b'coz she liked whay i drank. her pediatrician said there was no harm in adding a little of it.
why insist on milk, try yougurt. may be she'll like that. or cheeses.
keep writing.

hi,
you must be having a hell of a time if you still have to get up twice in the night to feed your baby!!
i have a 2 1/2 yr old and she stopped taking night feeds when she was 7-8 mths old. i started a sippy cup for her when she was 15 mths old. actually the sippy cup of a little different than the regular one. this was more like a straw -cup. she enjoyed drinking from this b'coz it takes less efforets to suck from this rather than regular sippy cup.
does she drink juice from a sippy cup? many kids drink all liquids except milk from such a cup.
keep writing and let me know if you make progress!!

My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
