it is important for parents to participate actively in their kids studies because that way you send across a message that this is something interesting and important. your participation will encourage them to perform better and this way you can have an active participation in their growing up. you can discover what interests your child and what he/she finds repulsive.

The biggest help which parents can do to the child is that maintaining a pleasant environment at home so that the child does not get disturbed and gets encouraged to study well. Parents should not fight unnecessarily as it can hamper the academic performance of child.

It is very necessary to have calm environment at home which can help child to study well during exams. Parents should try to keep the environment at home as positive as possible so that the child is able to concentrate on studies during exams as much as possible.

My child has appeared for SSC exam this year so I have taken leave for 1 month for helping my child study well during the exams. It is the responsibility of parents to help child study well during the exams and all parents should take care of this very important responsibility affecting child' s future.

RE:Reading Newspapers
How old is your kid as it depends on the age of the child and one cannot force a five year old to read the newspaper so if your child is above ten years then yes you should ask him or her to read the newspaper daily.... - Aditi [View Message]
