Does wearing a belt on the belly after delivery really help? My mom is after me to wear the conventional saree.

Can anyone tell me where to find a post pregnancy belt in the USA. Give me the details re. the store, the section, the brand and the sizes available.

Dear Chini,
yes, it definitely is of a great help to use postpartum belt.
You can find it in Surgical wear shops, ask your OB to prescribe one so she will be in aposition to help you with shop near her/his office.

any brand is OK.

hey chini,

my doc has srtictly told me no for the convential saree tying and abdominal massage.

actually my stomach also has gone in nearly flat.but it is loose so i will prob atart exercise after 1month as adviced by her.

docs now say no to belt and traditional say to follow so its ur choice
