Due Date Club November 2003:heartbeat in 6th week?

I am 6 weeks pregnant and I just had my first U/S already, but doc was concerned since she could not hear the heartbeats yet. She is going to my U/S again in two weeks to check that. But, has anyone heard heartbeat in their sixth week or do you usually hear it close to you 8th week? Please reply....

Hi Arshiya,
I'm 7 weeks 5 days along. My doctor did a vaginal ultrasound 2 days back, and we saw the heartbeat. I guess this is done around 7 or 8 weeks. So don't worry.

First of all conglatulations on ur pregnancy. i am from oct board and 8 weeks pregnant. Don't worry about the heart beat. it generally starts from 7th week. My dr. was able to see mine at 7 th week. So just relax and enjoy
