Hi All,

We are a couple married past 6 yrs. We have been trying to have a baby past 1.5-2 yrs. My sperm count is low. We visited BACC in Bangalore. With a very few tests and no counselling, they suggested IUI. The whole IUI process - Ultrasounds, Injections, IUI itself costed us Rs.10,000. BACC is a money making clinic. Please avoid it. The Doctors are unknowledgeble, unhelping and the facility is unhygenic. When my wife went for her ultrasounds daily for almost 10 days, she noticed that the bed sheets were not being changed at all. She had to meet the Director to get the sheets changed. Needless to say, the IUI was unsuccessful inspite of the pain and trouble both emotional and financial.
Then we visited Gunasheela Nursing Home in Basavanagudi. Our experience there has been very very good. The doctors conducted preliminary tests on my wife and Dr.Devika had a counselling session with us where she advised us to be calm and patient and not hurry with anything. We wanted to go for 2nd IUI cycle but she advised against it till further tests. I would advise ppl looking for infertility treatment to visit this hospital. The facilities and doctors are good. I wanted to share this exp with all so that ppl dont lose time and money in visiting clinics like BACC which only want your money and dont care if you have a baby or not.

I had a laparoscopy with Gunasheelas recently. All the doctors were very cooperative and concerned. Dr Gupta went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. She was very emphatetic sherli replied.

We have undergone 3 failed IUIs and have been asked to go for IVF-ICSI.Since it is such a painful and costly procedure,we wud like to go where theres a better chance..we are really confused-Dr Devika or Dr Beena Vasan....my husband las low sperm motility and poor morphology.My reports are normal.Please advise. suchitra replied. i just wanted to know how much the whole IVF procedure would come up to.leaving out the cost of injections and so on.thanks smitha replied. I' ll like to know did u hv success in ur trial at Gunasheela. I hv to get IVF done. My hubby also having low sperm count(actually low binding property as they say). Want to know how u found Gunasheela. N which is the best IVF clinic in Blr with a humane approach bcoz i am really dissatisfied wid some doc in blr (to whom i went for IUI). I found her v insensitive.

I too had a pathatic experience at BACC. They have made this sensitive issue of infertility a money pulling business. I too advice each and every1 to not to visit BACC at all. Dr. Madhuri Patil is indeed a good doc to consult. Kamini Rao of BACC is useless and pls dont waste ur money and time in trying to visit BACC. neha replied. hi rahul,
heartfelt best wishes. i will rpay for you.i am going to lalbagh nursing home and he people there also have been very helpful. i wanted to ask you a question. my husband has a small variocele but the doc said that it need not be treated. i have had 2 miscarraiges . conceiving for me is not a problem but continuing the pregnancy is{ secondary infertility in my case}. variocele is normally associated with primary infertility. anyway i read that vitamin C helps with a variocele so my hubby is taking 500mg vitamain C daily, its not harmful if you think it is not beneficial. anyway i wanted to ask you if a variocele could be my problem. nandhu replied.
