My baby boy is 3months old and is on formula since birth.Since 1 week he is not taking even 2 oz per feeding.Previously he used to ahve 2-3 every 3 hrs.Now his apetite has decreased.Can anyone suggest how to increase his appetite.PLEASE HELP.IM WORRIED. check his gums,swollen,reddish/pinkish,,is sign of teething,,expect lack of apetite during teething ! also, dont expect your baby from nowonwwards to follow the infant baby formula feeding schedule..your baby is now BABY and no more infant,,once he crosses 3months,,
as far as a 3month old drinks :
5–6 feedings of 4–7 ounces each,,sum total comes to 20oz,24oz to 35oz-42 oz,,dpending on his apetite,,,he is growing good.
once a while babies like to reduce the intake due to some stomach upsets, gas or some other prilimnry sign of complication on your way,,,
also, right now seasonal viral and fevers are high almost in all countries,,considering severe winter approaching,,and many places have bacterial infections going on,,,

best is to do is take him to dr,,,3months old is too young age to wait until something strikes !!!
