My son is drak form body and fair form face he is 6 months old as we are very fair adn noone our house is dark.......i had lot of saffron in milk during pregnnacu after 5th month.I reda somewhere that taking saffron makes the baby darker,if we take saffrononly in 7,8,9 month then bbay will be fair.........

so,if this thing is consumed in appropriate amounts, it has proved beneficial for health..these health related problems,mostly are also associated with skin.

however, it does not guarantee that taking this will make you FAIR !! but yes, if your actual skin colour is fair or wheatish, and due to some reason(any of the stated above) has become dark,then there are chances that taking saffron will get you back to your skin colour by its qualities mentioned above.

now, these qualities that i mentioned, also have been causes for skin damage to some level..so if you are able to repair your body from inside with improving the functions of gall bladder,liver,a good digestive system & remain relaxed and dont get depressed,,,well,, your skin will improve to its original colour, even without taking saffron !

you will be surprised to know that when some women took saffron during their pregnancy, they started having heartburns because saffron is hot spice,later it was digged out in ayurveda that one of the cure of winter colds or chronic sinuses was taking hot milk with saffron and crushed almonds.
But, no where its written though that it actually has changed the actual colour of human skin,,,not even in the books where its exceptional qualities were defined...
so saffron has nothing to do with colour change and its something that improves your skin radiance because it improves the organs that have direct effect on skin appearance,,not the real colour...
since you all are fair in your house, often babies take parents skin colour,,also,there has been cases where the babies has taken the colours of either paternal relatives or maternal relatives..and such couples whose skin were not fair or rather dark or too dark have had fair, pure white babies! in the family history, when they studied at it, it was found that either their grandmother or someone in same blood( or rather same genetic makeup) relative had the same skin colour !! which means that baby not only takes the colour of parents but sometimes
there are some genes in the body of parents which were suppressed during their parents birth(and cz of that their parents didnt continue to have that colour) and now with the baby, they got dominant due to some reasons and are showing the colours !!!

there 3 in 20 with such cases where parents were surprised to c skin colour or eye colour,hair colour when their baby was born,,later they could workout that someone in their family was having it !! traditionally,there is also a famous saying tht if a child looks like someone from materal side, then he or she is very lucky in their life and are early birds,,however this saying is pretty orthodox,,but somewhere in our indian history, i think the ones who made this saying did knew that somewhere the skin or appearance has alot to do with genetic suppression and dominations at a particular time,,to make people that,,they made sayings !!
