good inputs, ana...

addins :)

4.enough liquid intake thru out the day ! offering water at night sometimes helps to soothe baby at night..

5. its not necessary that dinner is the only food that might help him sleep better,,,its the whole days diet of the baby that makes him feel contended at night,,,look for other tips for your baby in feeding section,,alot of babies with same age..

6. often bf babies develop this habit,,offering a good feed before sleep,if at all you are bf or a good warm glass of milk(cows milk, as your baby is 1 year onwards),,will make him sleep better..or her full feed of formula...

7. some babies gets mild gas or stomach upset caused due to meals thru out the days,,so might be the case, if only sudden waking up at night have started...or if at all this prob started after the introduction of solids...

8.givng your baby a good warm bath before sleep helps him to relieve from ne stress that might have caused due to overplaying/overtiredness or soreness in legs,,babies often get that once they start cruising...

a good luck and if the problem persist,,talk to your dr.

1. food - make your baby's stomach is full before she sleeps. If not chapati, give her something she likes to eat, say rice (and not potato chips :-), for trial sake

2. sleep - does she sleep too much during the day? does she play (enough physical activity )? make sure her evening was full of activity and fun. She would be tired by the time of sleep

3. make sure she her bowels are clear for the day (that she has no stomach pain or anything like tht). Make her do susu before taking her to bed.

Generally these three things resolve sleep problems. If these dont, discuss with paediatrician.

Sleep Problem due to itchy skin
My baby girl is unable to sleep properly due to skin rashes. I have resumed oil massages to help calm her down and facilitate better sleep, using CITTA Baby Massage Oil. Additionally, I am applying the ointment recommended by her doctor for the rashes. Could you please provide me with more ideas that can promote better sleep for her?... - Sanchari Tarafdar [View Message]

RE:How to Develop a Sleep Routine for your Newborn
According to me this is good but then you cannot force your child to sleep as per your wish as kids as really bad in this and they have a tendency to sleep in day and get up in late night so according to me this is not the key to success, please post if i am wrong.... - Anita [View Message]
