I had tasted macroni payasam/kheer in a hotel long time ago....I jus loved it...if somebody know how to do it ..plz share the recipe...TIA

Subject:  hi jo, i know a lil abt macaroni payasam/kheer



ingredients-
1 cup of boiled macaroni
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 litre milk
a pinch of saffron
roasted cashewnuts n almonds chopped
1/4 th cup of rice which is left in water overnight n grind it in a smooth paste
250 gm khoya or 2-3 leftover pista barfi-optional
silver varq
METHOD
Boil the milk in a deep pan , add sugar and the rice paste.cook till the milk reduces to half and is thick , add saffron and boiled macaroni .cook for 10 mins more.now add khoya or 2-3 crushed pista burfi or u can even add kalakand.now the mixture will thicken more and is ready to eat.garnish with chopped nuts and decorate with silver varq.You will enjoy it but consume it within 24 hrs as the macaroni becomes soft and even break into pieces.
