Hi Catch,

These values look absolutely normal. I can so relate the excitement you and your hubby must have shared when u saw/heard the baby's heartbeat (umbilical cord etc). Its one helluva feeling. And I always like the zeal people have to know about things.

CRL is Crown Rump length. Basically, thats the length of the baby from the head (crown) to the tip of the buttocks (not all the way till the toes). This is usually relied upon to calculate the fetal age until about 12 weeks (and since the length keeps growing and the baby sits in a folded position, thats a relatively not-so-deterministic way to evaluate things).

So, usually, after 12 weeks, they move onto more significant parameters.
BPD = Biparital Diameter (this is the diameter of the head of the fetus)
HC = Head circumference
AC = Abdomen circumference
FL = Femur length

There are several formuale followed by different systems to arrive at the fetal weight and age based on the above parameters. (Hadlock's one being the most used i hear). There are certain softwares that puts your baby's fetal weight/age in certain percentiles. No need to follow them so closely (unless you are truly interested in knowing everything about your baby....thats how i was with my first baby...i wanted to know every damn thing...so i would sit and google out everything...although you come across things on the web that might scare you off and put in some apprehensions/fears, you will still feel so equipped with all the information that you begin to enjoy the pregnancy in its truest sense...you kinda feel you are growing with your baby and feeling everything that your babys feeling in your tummy).

All in all, these measurements look pretty good.

Hadlock BPD/FL/AC formula:
Log 10 birth weight = 1.4787 + 0.001837 (BPD)2 + 0.0458 (AC) + 0.158 (FL) - 0.003343 (AC x FL)
Take a scientific calculator and evaluate it for yourself. :-)

Happy pregnancy

Sunil.

these terms are helpful to understand babys development as a whole. They consider head, abdomen and measure longest bone of the body 'femur'.

baby looks fine.
