Come to think of it, no.....I guess I will wear my usual jeans (unbuttoned)....

Oh and this morning I came to a startling discovery that none of my cool tennis shoes fit me either (my feet are swollen), so I am walking around in flip flops..and I feel like a vagabond...
Oh sweet lord, save me....there was a time when I would revel in my buttoned jeans and my cool shoes..and look at me now..fat and no sense of fashion...and flip flops...

Hi All,
You guys are lucky coz you can buy something new for the coming baby. In my home the tradition is not to put new clothes for baby untill some days...I don't know how many. But you can't put new clothes. So I am waiting for my friends to pass me on some stuff.

Anyways you guys enjoy shopping. Avi congratulations on having a boy.

Vindhya congrats on having a cute lil girl.
I am so excited for you guys. Hey vindhya are you planning to have soem nursery theme or having a mix and match.

I am for barbie

Hey Vindhya, the barbie theme is really cute..can never go wrong with it..it's every girl's dream..
I dont mind one myself.......:)

I am not planning on doing a nursery yet cause we will be renting for another year and there is no point doing up the room that is not really his...

but yeah, both my hubby and I are basketball fanatics (He loves the lakers and I am still stuck with the bulls), so it sure would be fun to come up with a compromise and work on something basketballish..when we do get to work on the bean's room... :)
but we could surely get a bit rowdy with the crib mattress, blankie's etc...

Since she is a girl, its going to be a pinkish nursery. The bedding, crib, everything will have pinkish flavors. In addition to the color, the theme will be Barbie.

How about you? Is it going to be neutral?

Well, be4 i read this msg, i had never thought about it, but i guess will have to start scratching my brain (or should i rather use my hubby's...:-)) on this too along with the names. And b'cos we chose not to know the sex of the baby, will have to choose a neutral color, like what Simmi mentioned.
Anyways, since selection might be somewhat easier for u, happy shopping for ur little prince.
Do let us know what u finally decide on?

Not as easy as you

Hi Avi,
Congratulations for the baby boy!
Well, since I dont' know if mine is a girl or a boy, I am thinking of getting a lemon color outfit. I have thought of getting a half body suit, then the velor outfit on the top and then will take a jumper or sweater and hat along with it too. Of course, a lemon shawl too. Sounds so much to cover a little one but with it being very cold here in Nov, can't take a chance.....though once in car, with heating on, few layers can surely come off. Let's see if I change my mind nearer the time, but have fun getting ur blue outfit.

I did look at some really cute jumpers over the weekend (what else can a boy wear right??? :))...I am also looking for some FUBU newborn wear (cause that's my fav brand) but I dont think they make clothes for anyone younger than 12.. :) will keep trying though....

Oh wow!!!!!! a baby girl..Congrats..
that is so cool and when it comes to outfits you have a gigantic amount to choose from....
I dont know too much about how newborns react to silk either..but you sure do have a lot to choose from.. :)

Moreover, Nov is going to be quite cold so that might play a part too when it comes to choosing the outfit (not that the baby will be up for any outing :) )

We have lots of time, so I am sure we'll find something nice...
