Planning a Baby  Discussion Forum

We are a couple married for the last 8 years. Since 2004, we have been trying to adopt a baby girl. But our problem is since we had stayed in US for 2yrs, then Finland for 2yrs, then again in US for 2yrs and now we are residing in China for the last 1yr......all the adoption agencies say that we move around a lot, we are not settled, thus our application for adoption gets cancelled. We are both working in the IT sector, we have 2houses, one in Mumbai and one in Pune and a fair amount of savings. Our sisters & family are well settled, our fathers are retired govt. official, one of them is a retired IPS officer and the other one is a retired Indian Railway officer. All our papers are in place and we both do not have any genetic defect, or any recurring disease.
I can see everywhere that there are rules & provisions for 1. Foreigners who want to adopt. 2. Resident Indians who want to adopt. 3. NRIs who are sattled abroad.
What about people like us \" who come and go abroad\" , people like us \" who are residing abroad for long periods but not settled in one place\" , people like us \" whose permanent address is in India but they have to reside long period (a year or more) abroad\" ....??
Anybody who knows any adoption agency who are open to couple like us as adoptive parents, please give us the information. Rev Peterson replied.
