Due Date Club October 2003:Parents got visa

My parents-in-law went for their visa interview today. Everything went fine and they were approved. They will receive the passports with in a week after visa stamping done.
we are planning to call them in september. Now we have to look for their medical insurance and tickets.
I am feeling very happy and relaxed at this end, relieved from one tension. I have started preparing a list for stuff from india.

Hi Manisha!

Good news! I too am happy for you. Now you can relax. I did some research for parents medical insurance. Heard that taking insurance here is better than taking from India. Not sure, which one in US but.

Anu.

Hi Uma

I hope you are also doing better now, you sounded very worried about your excess weight gain yesterday. I think it is impossible to pass pregnancy without worries.
In delhi the dropbox age limit is 65, and they both are below that, so they went for interview.
Everything went smooth, they just checked papers from our side, and asked few simple questions.
- How long is your son in US?
- How many children do you have in India?
- How long do you plan to stay in US?
etc..
They prepared few papers from their side too, like property affidavit, bank statements, pension books etc... but they didn't even ask that.
They are also excited to visit us, this will be there first visit to US.
