My daughter is 2.5 years old i am trying to wean her away from her bottle, she refuses milk in any other container has almost stopped taking milk. Please let me know if this is th eright age for weaning?

Give ur child some time.Dont be in a hurry to wean.Every child is different so u must not follow the books.I made a mistake with my elder one and he compleatly stopped drinking milk after i tried to wean him off the bottle.
So relax he will let u know when he doesnot want it.

My daughter too is almost 3 yrs now with the same problem.So I did not stop her bottle till she insists on it.Last month ,I insisted that she should drink just one ounce of drinking chocolate from the cup after which only she will get her bottle,in the morning.She agreed and drank it and then immediately I gave her the bottle.After that I am gradually increasing the quantity of milk in the cup and have stopped her bottle in the morning, though she has a bottle in the afternoon and night. Also it is believed that if she has more of yogurt and milk based food, she doesnt need more than a cup of milk everyday.
