this is my 23rd week.
since few days i have started getting swelling and pain in my feet.since i am in s/w job i have to constantly sit before the computer with feet down..is this a cause of swelling..also i havent started walking or any excerise ..does anyone has idea why is this swelling and pain and how can we aviod it...when shud i start walking/ excerising. friend replied. hi, you should increase water intake. and try to keep your feet elevated while you are sleeping, as much time as possible. it will definately benefit you. Neelam M. Khatu replied. You shoud had started walking at least 1-2km daily from 4th month onwards. Since I am aslo facing same problem i walk daily at least 1-2km. Now also you can start walking as it is a good exercise and doctors also insist on it as it gives good body movement. Also drink lots of water as much as you can. Rama replied. Hi Chitra,
I am in the same boat as yours. Even I am in the s/w job and have to sit infront of the computer. Even my feet has started swelling, though I go regulary for walks everyday. I asked my doctor and he said it is very common due to weight gain. Every night, I keep my feet in warm water for 1/2 hr and that seems to do the trick for me. It reduces the pain.
