Hi everyone
Since last few days I am having trouble to find a perfect position while sleeping at night such that I do not press my stomach while sleeping.

I am trying to sleep with a pillow in between my legs so that I don't lie down on my stomach at all. But even if I sleep on the side, I feel that at times, some part of my stomach gets pressed.

I am worried if this would harm the baby.

Can you all share with me your experiences or waht you guys did to get a nice sleep.

Since I get conscious of the fact that I might push my weight on the stomach I am not even able to get a sound sleep as I wake up so many times.

I am looking forward to any suggestions in this regard.

Good luck to you all. baby2Mommy replied. I totally agree with What Ramya has said. It's a common fear we all get that by sleeping in some positions we are going to hurt the baby. But it's not true always. Even today I checked this with my Doctor and she said sleeping on your left is the perfect position. But don't get alarmed of you find yourself on your back when you wake up in the middle of your sleep. Just try to go back to sleep on your left side with a pillow inbetween your legs. Stay active all day along which should give you a good night sleep at night. Happy sleeping. : ) Ramya replied. Congrats!!My due date is on Aug11th.I too had the same problem.My doctor advised me to always sleep on my left side.It is a common fear that if the stomach gets pressed it will harm the baby.But u need not worry.THis will not harm u'r baby at all if u keep a pillow as the baby is well cushioned inside u'r stomach.If u have a disturbed sleep u can have some warm milk before u go to bed.I hope this will help you.
