Planning a Baby  Discussion Forum

Hi All,
we are trying for baby since last 3 years. Have undergone 6-8 IUI cycles. Now we are trying to go to next step for IVF.We have found 3 centres - Gunasheela Bangalore 2.) Dr Kamini Rao Bangalore, 3.) GG Hospital Chennai.
Anyone who have already visited any of these or better IVF centre , please respond back. I am very desperate and restless.

Hi ppl..I am from Chennai and I ve gone to Dr kamala and Geetha haripriy. both of them are professionally good but dont give any personal time. they see so many patients at a stretch and we were so disappointed abt the way they handled us. I just saw the dr once at GG and dr geetha makes us wait for 4-5 hrs. Since ivf is itself only 40% successful, i dont blame the drs but personal care is very much needed when you go for ivf treatment. Dr Samundi at Srushti is a dr whom u can rely on. she was very open to me tat i got only 2 eggs first time and they are also not of very good quality. The second time after she gave me so much of confidence i now got a beautiful baby. I strongly recommend Dr Samundi. SunMoon replied. Hi Nidhi,

I' m very new to this forum. I was goign thru the discussion forum. As I' m also living in Blr, can u pls let me know where u stand now, any luck, which dr u approached. Please throw some of your exp which might be useful to me as well.

under gone 4 IUI and 2 IVF cycles... no use.. we saw 5 hospitals accross the conuntry..
i think all the hospitals what i have seen are money minded

sorry i do not visit this board often,. As you said in gunasheela there is no fixed doctor assigned to you. so whoever where the duty drs on that day they will look after you.
since the no.of ivf patients are less they normally take care of them better i think. since the cycle is also for long runs for min of 2 months u become friendly with the drs anyway.
why after 1 cycle of iui you are going to ivf? is there anything issue with u or ur husband? did any dr advice you to undergo ivf?

i saw ur msg n next month i' m planning for ivf n thought of going to gunasheela..but i still have second thought ...after seeing ur msg i' m more confused...why did they cancel the treatment?? plz if you know any good ivf centre do let me know bcoz i don' t know much abt b' lore...help me
aastha replied. U dont find anywhere,that Dr' s giving personal attention to patients,nope.
2of my friends had success with kamini rao.but i felt the clinic is more like a government hospital,i dont like dat kind of atmosphere,so i did' nt go to her.anyways check out,go once to the hospital,talk to the Dr.if u r comfortable in her hands.go ahead or meet another Doc.all the best. aastha replied. i stay in bangalore ,iv gone through treatment in gunasheela, my advice is please don' t go to her.ul never know when u have started treatment ,when they will cancel your treatment,u vl just waste ur time n money n more over your emotinal balance.
try out with Dr.kamini rao,she' s good Humi replied. I know ppl who tried gunasheela and they are very positive aboot it.
