Today i have a sever back ache.. wondering what needs to be done.. I didnt have it for so many days. waiting to go home

I cannot sleep on my side for a long time. Sometimes i may have to sleep flat. I've read that sleeping flat will cause back ache.. in that case what do we do

I try sleeping on my side too but wake up on my back and move back to the side and this goes on throughout the night and I wake up with a bad backache. I would recommend pillows(one under your hip to cushion your back)and massages and like Ruchika said, hot/cold packs will help too..

I think these backaches and different ains are going to part of our daily routine till we deliver. You can try taking cold or hot pack while sleeping. It really helps a lot(atleast for me). Try not to sit on couch.Always sit on hard chair. These are little things but you will defi feel better.

EDD 11Nov hetal replied. it`s normal in pregnency. if it bearable than do not take any medicine. this is not due to your sleeping possition but yr baby is on back side more that`s why it happen as divya told take yr hobby help he can do a message that will real help
take care Simmi replied. Hi Divya. Sleeping on sides does get uncomfortable as we get bigger in size. I too have not found a comfortable position but I do sleep flat at times too, till the time I manage to sleep, all positions are OK. However, using pillows under ur legs, between ur legs, two pillows under ur head, around ur tummy and back, basically cushioning urself in pool of pillows and a loving massage from husband is the only hope we have for now! Hope this helps. If the pain is unbearable, try having paracetamol (disprin etc), one tab don't do harm, so my doc says.
Take it easy, fatigue adds to the pain too! All the best.
