I am a primi, i recently had a circlage. I want to know about the precautions to be taken in this position. I am not able to sleep in the lying down straight ie., supine position for long time. Is it safe to sleep in the side positions or not. I also want to know about safe sitting and sleeping positons.Please reply soon.

Hi I am an OBGYN was reading your message.How many weeks were you pregnant when you had cerclage.Why you had a cerclage?Usually after cerclage you acn sleep on your side and even on your back if less than 20 weeks.You can sit also,Did they do a followup ultrasound to see the cervical length.If you have any questions dont hesitate.Wish you the very best

Even i had cerclage..and i had pain for only 2 days and then everything was fine. I was doing my routine work normally. No need to maintain any sleeping positions, u can sleep however u want. Lemme know if u have any other doubts.
